What is self-suspension?

自縛吊是一種結合繩縛(Shibari,日本繩縛)與空中動作的藝術,透過繩索將自己懸吊於空中。對許多人而言,它不僅是一種自我表達,更是一種身體挑戰與繩索建立連結的方式。與其他空中器械不同,自縛吊不僅需要力量與創造力,更需要技術與技巧來建立自己的支撐點,使其成為一種極具個人風格的練習。

自縛吊的獨特之處在於其深刻的內在體驗。綁繩的過程是你的身體與繩索之間的對話,在其中,疼痛與張力被昇華為藝術與流動。它帶您探索平衡、極簡美學與純粹之美,同時挑戰自我掌控與信任自身能力的極限。

請注意,Yisi 以空中藝術的角度教授自縛吊,將繩索視為一種空中器械。此教學方式專注於動作與表演,但所學技巧同樣適用於冥想、自我探索、感官覺察等其他自縛吊練習。

Self-suspension is the art of tying yourself with ropes and suspending in the air, combining elements of shibari (Japanese rope bondage) and aerial movement. For many, it's a practice of self-expression, physical challenge, and connection with the ropes. Unlike other aerial apparatus, self-suspension requires not only strength and creativity but also the techniques and skills to create your own points of support, making it a very personal practice.

What sets self-suspension apart is its very introspective experience. The act of tying becomes a dialogue between your body and the ropes, where pain and tension are transformed into art and movement. Self-suspension invites you to explore balance, minimalism, and the beauty of simplicity while embracing the challenge of control and trust in your own abilities.

Please note that Yisi teaches self-suspension from an aerial arts perspective, viewing ropes as an aerial apparatus. While this approach focuses on movement and performance, the techniques learned can also support other self-suspension practices, such as meditation, self-exploration, sensory awareness etc.

入門工作坊(初學者)

自縛吊的基礎課程。在這堂課中,您將學習基本的安全守則、心理狀態調適、裝備使用、輔助保護(spotting)、主吊繩(uplines)、單柱縛(single-column tie)等核心技巧。課程最後,您將體驗您的第一次離地懸吊!
完成此課程後,方可參加中級課程。

中級課程(先修條件:入門工作坊)

總共有三堂中級課程,您可以自由選擇上課順序。每堂課專注於不同的吊帶綁法:

- 腰胯(Hip Harness)

- 大腿縛(Futomomo)

- 胸衣/胸吊帶(Chest Harness)

所有課程都強調在受力狀態下安全管理主吊繩(uplines)。

進階流動課程(先修條件:完成所有中級課程)

提升您的自縛吊技巧,學習如何將不同吊帶流暢銜接,形成完整的懸吊動作序列。課程將幫助您發展流動感、創造力與耐力,並精進您的繩索控制與身體覺察能力。每堂課將教授一組空中流動動作,融合過去課程所學的技巧。

在每堂課中,安全、同意(consent)與溝通皆為首要考量。 我們的講師將提供實作指導,並確保所有學員在尊重且包容的環境中學習。

Introduction Workshop (Beginner)


The foundation of self-suspension. Learn essential safety protocols, headspaces, gear, spotting, uplines, single-column ties, and much more. Experience your first flight during this workshop. Completion of this workshop is required to attend intermediate classes.

Intermediate Classes (Prerequisite: Intro Workshop)


There are three intermediate classes in total, and they can be taken in any order. Each class focuses on a different harness: hip harness, futomomo (leg tie), and chest harness. All classes emphasize learning how to manage uplines under tension safely.

Advanced Flow (Prerequisite: All Intermediate Classes)


Elevate your practice by combining harnesses into seamless suspension sequences. Develop fluidity, creativity, and endurance while refining your rope control and body awareness. Each class will teach you an aerial flow that incorporates some or all of the techniques learned in previous classes.

Safety, consent, and communication are prioritized in every class. Our instructors provide hands-on guidance and ensure a respectful, inclusive space for all participants.
